This course covers the basics of rock climbing including belaying, climbing knots, rappelling, and basic rock climbing movement.  We will meet  at our scheduled time and location, fill out our liability waivers, and then get geared up for the day.  Dependent on our location, we then have a 10 minute hike through the forest, or a short drive from our White Mountain basecamp. Then we will arrive at our climbing spot for the day, where we will set-up our anchors and begin climbing.  Climbs can vary in difficulty from 5.4 all the way to 5.13b, so there will be something to climb for all ability levels.  This course is approximately 5 hours.

"Filler spots" are $100 per person.  Filler spots are spots we have open in our group trips or courses. Call for openings.

This course is designed for beginners.  No previous experience is required.  All participants should be reasonably fit, and physically able to participate  in this approximately 5 hour course.  Courses are adjusted to fit the climbers experience, and ability level.

All technical gear is provided. This includes harness, helmet, belay device,chalk bag, and a locking carabiner. Please bring appropriate outdoor clothing for the day, as well as lunch/snacks and plenty of water.  Be sure to bring sunblock and bug spray. A personal camera is also recommended. Rock climbing shoes are not mandatory but are strongly recommended.  These are not included in the price to help keep customer costs down.  Rental shoes are available for 10 dollars a day, be sure to call ahead for all rentals.

Full payment is required when scheduling.  Any cancellations within 7 days of the climb will not be eligible for a refund.  Cancellations before the 7 day cutoff will receive a full refund.  As professional mountain guides, our cancellation policy helps with our guides job security. Must sign waiver. Subject to conditions.  14+ with parent/legal guardians signature.
