Have you been dreaming of hiking in the White Mountains?  NRMG now offers guided full and half day options to fit your needs.  Whether it is a Mount Washington summit climb, the Franconia Ridge traverse, a hike up Indian Head, or the whole Pemi Loop, NRMG is here to show you the way.  With options for city folks just looking for a short hike in the mountains, to avid hikers looking for some local experts, NRMG will put together an adventure based on your goals.  Our guides have training in various forms of wilderness medicine, years of local and international hiking and climbing experience, and most are members of the local search and rescue team.  With NRMG, you are in good hands.

Gear List

Dependent on your adventure and the time of year, the list can vary greatly.  The gear list for each outing will be discussed after booking, so you can be appropriately prepared for your chosen adventure.  A good, general start would be wool/synthetic socks, sturdy hiking boots, wicking underwear/baselayer, quick drying pants and rain pants, wicking t-shirt, wicking mid-layer, rain shell, hat, appropriately sized backpack, hat, food for the day, 2 liters of water, headlamp, basic first aid kit, and a map and compass with the knowledge on how to use them.

Important Information

Full payment is required when scheduling. Trips run rain, shine, sleet, or snow.  Please do not make travel arrangements until a confirmation email is received. Travel insurance is highly suggested. Any cancellations over 30 days of your adventure will receive a full refund. Any cancellations within 30 days of your adventure will be credited as NRMG credit. Within 14 days of your adventure, no cancellations or rescheduling will be allowed and any fees will be forfeited. Multiple day trips have a non-refundable $50 per person booking fee. NRMG reserves the right to dismiss any participant if they are not physically, mentally, or technically (inadequate gear) prepared.  NRMG also reserves the right to dismiss anyone if they are under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Any dismissals by NRMG are not eligible for a refund.  Any weather related cancellations from NRMG will include a credit for another trip.  As professional mountain guides, our cancellation policy helps with our guides job security.  There is no guarantee of reaching the summit, as peoples physical fitness and the weather can be a factor.  Must sign waiver. Subject to weather. 14+ with parent/legal guardians signature required.
